Why This
Some folks wander all around the internet, downloading all sorts of stuff. Maybe some client sent a random USB drive with data on it. A cheap device that gets wiped on regular basis is a low risk way to check things out that maybe feel a little squicky to put on a machine that has more precious information on it.
